ATCA shelf/ ATCA chassis

ATCA shelf or ATCA chassis or ATCA enclosure is usually referred to integrated system that consists of:
• Sheet metal
• Backplane
• Shelf manager
• Power supply
• Fan tray
• Air filter

The system is designed according to the ATCA standard or PCMIG3.x.
The ATCA shelf was designed especially for next generation telecom requirements but increasingly penetrate to enterprise and military applications.
